Cookies are small files that the site writes to your browser to recognise your visit, remember preferences and measure how pages are used. This policy explains which categories we use on www.observatoriogestao.com.br, for how long and how you control each one. It follows the LGPD (the Brazilian data protection law) and the ANPD guidance on cookies and personal data protection.
What cookies and similar technologies are
- First-party cookies are set by our own domain; third-party cookies are set by services we embed (anti-spam protection, Brazilian Sign Language translation, payment).
- Session cookies disappear when you close the browser; persistent cookies stay for the period indicated below.
- Local storage (localStorage) works in a similar way and is used, for example, to keep your accessibility preferences — contrast and font size — in your own browser.

How to manage your preferences
- On your first visit, the cookie banner offers the options of accepting all, rejecting the non-essential ones or choosing category by category.
- You can review your choice at any time through the “Cookie preferences” button, fixed on the page.
- Your choice is recorded in a necessary cookie for up to 12 months; after that the banner is shown again.
- When you withdraw consent, the cookies in that category stop loading on the next pages; the ones already stored can be deleted in your browser.

Each third-party service follows its own privacy policy. We only embed services whose purpose is necessary for the operation, the security or the accessibility of the site.
